12 LED trunk-light Mod

Compared to my BMW (which has 3 trunk lights btw), my EX coupe's wimpy 5 watt single trunk light left much to be desired. I tried out a regular LED, but it was aimed towards the side. Even these 90 degree LEDS although better still wasn't bright enough. I decided to order 2 of these 6 PCB Mounted LEDS. I then spliced the two connectors together (The package comes with several) and ran extra wire out and then soldered them all together and here's the results...
They're so much brighter it put's the bimmer's $40+K trunk lights to shame lol!
BTW I took the shots in pitch black in my garage with my D300 mounted on a tripod. The actual light is definitely bluer, but I adjusted the WB. I know I should've taken before pics, but I installed them in the daytime so couldn't take a good comparison pic of the stock light.

Thanks guys. I'll yank the wires out tomorrow to take pics. It's pretty easy if you're handy with a soldering iron. You could just use crimp-on connectors, but it's alot less reliable.
