Need help with my fog light install

Alright guys, last week my K2 fogs came in and I didn't get around to installing them until today. I followed the DIY sticky as well as the colleghillshonda.com install instruction. Install went ok, since it was my first time doing something like this. It took me about 4 hours altogether.

Anyway, I got everything hooked up, just the fogs will not turn on. I hit the switch and it lights up, also I hear a ticking sound when I turn them on and off. Is this the relay? I'm stuck, bulbs are fine, fuse is in place, I think the ground are right.....help help help. Right now I'm a poser with fogs but no worky, lol. Thanks guys

Kevin

first check the fuse. then if you have a meter, take out the bulbs and check that to see if theres power. if no power, check back further at the closest connector and so on. thats what i would do if you followed the instructions and everything seemed right.

it's probably one of the connections from the harness to the car's harness. when I installed mine, the pin of the relay under the steering wheel got pushed back, and it just needed to be reseated. Those damn blue connectors were the bane of my existence for a good half hour...f**kers!

As others have said, check all of your connections again. I was helping another member who couldn't get his K2 fogs to turn on, but had the switch and relay both working as you do.

He didn't push the red/white wire into the 32 pin harness far enough, that's all that was wrong with his install.

I made sure my red/white wired is pushed all the way in, I'll have to check again anyway.

Also make sure you have a good ground-return path. To ensure this, scrape off the paint around the ground screw behind your bumper so that the ground wire has good electrical bonding.

Also, I found that the connectors behind my clutch and the one behind the windshield wash reservoir were difficult to connect completely. I thought they were all the way in but instincts told me otherwise so I gave it some muscle and was relieved to hear a satisfying "snap" as they locked in.
