How did you mount your underbody glow?
I bought some UB lights for my Si and didn't think to take a good look underneath for mounting options. I just assumed there would be endless possibilities. WRONG! The front and rear are easy, lots of plastic to cable tie thru. The sides however have pretty much nothing but metal. I don't want to go drilling into it and end up with glowing rust in a year. The best I can come up with is using the mudguard mounts somehow, but that doesn't offer any support in the middle. I might just need to reinforce it. Either way, I'm looking to find out how other members handled this.
I know not everyone likes UB glow, but this isn't the thread to express your dislike for it. EDIT: These won't be on every time the sun sets, I decide when they are on and I'll keep it to private property, etc. Last edited by Swank; 03-14-2008 at 12:09 PM. |

exactly why i took them off. i bought them at autozone cause they were on sale and i thought hmm these might be cool. bout a month later i almost started crying because i realized i had streamed towards the path of ricing. i have not invested in any aesthetic mods since.

most people who have under lighting have switches wired inside so you can turn them off quickly. I know someone who has them on his celica and he hasn't gotten pulled over for them. You just have to know when and where it's ok and be able to have a good eye out for cops. It's riced out when its a cheap hack job.
