broken foglight question

my drivers-side foglight just cracked but hasn't burned out, what should i do to fix it? I'm not sure if honda will cover this under warranty either, does anyone know? They are OEM and were installed by hondas techs.

cracked is a bit of an understatement, its actually a hole all the way through.

dont do the lexan fix..it melts! unless you get some HIDs for it, since they run cooler

if the hole is not too big, u can take it apart and fill the crack and hole with a epoxy type glue (the stuf that comes in a syringe type of applicator and hardens almost instantly). another thing u can do along with that is get some 3m clear bra type material and cover ur fog lights.

the 3m will also burn/melt but the epoxy is a good idea

yes, the fogs are alot hotter than the headlights. do this : leave your headlights and fogs on for 5 mins or less, go and touch your headlights, then (very carefully, and quickly) touch your fogs, you will see why they burn stuff, you could cook eggs on it. trust me, i burned myself

and quite a few people have done HIDs in their fogs i dont have a job..so no money to
