^ I believe those have a slight blue tinge to them. You can also get them on ebay cheaper.

I'm looking at the PIAA Intense White myself and am wondering if they are any good...

Slightly whiter light and that's about it. Output isn't much to say wow about for the money but a bit better quality than cheap blue tinted ebay bulbs. It'll give you a really slight hint of blue/purple.

Pay a few more bucks and get the $89 kit on ebay. sells the kit that most of the folks on here get. Good quaility kit for around $100 bucks shipped.

I'm going retrofit and am sourcing out the parts for bionic. But for now I just wanted some better bulbs to hold me over. I read some reviews on the PIAAs not lasting too long. I may go for Philips Crystal Visions instead.

Look in the sticky for Orient Express's DIY. I'm using the same kit made by with no issues at all. Search for that and you'll find plenty of results and lots of people with good comments about this kit and seller.

I've been running the Xtreme White Plus for over two years. The color is white and brighter than stock. I think they look really good. The first set that I had lasted me the last two years until I demolished them in my recent accident. Insurance replaced them with a brand-new set. They last forever unlike many I have tried off of ebay. If I get a chance I'll try to take some pics; however, I won't have any thing to compare them to.

if u live in socal, there's a place called super autobac's. The phillips ones up there are 25 bucks. I was about to buy them because i didnt see the whole row of jdm bulbs. They let u test all of these japanese bulbs and its not too expensive. plus the best part is, if u buy stuff there, they do free same day install. I saw these tight ass yellow piaa bulbs but i didnt get them cus i cant risk it.

Anyone using this already? Really wanna see some pics on how it looks like. I had the Xtreme White on my old civic. But I wanna see if the Intense white is different cause the Xtreme White has a blue tint to it if you look inside the headlight housing.

compared to other bulbs, these aren't as white, but they are a bit whiter and brighter than stock. about it.

I just switched to the piaa intense white, and they're about equal in whiteness/brightness to the silverstar ultras I had before (which is no slouch, as close to hid as you can get at 4100k). The main difference between those bulbs as I've seen? My silverstar ultras lasted me about 4 months! The piaas come with a lifetime guarantee against defect. The extreme whites are good, but do also show a slight hint of blue along with the white, and produce 4000k light color, which is slightly less output in lumens. IMO, if you want show bulbs, go for extreme white plus, but if you want the light output, intense white is the way to go.
