our civics have a cut off line it doesnt blind anyone.... ive tested it by driving infront of my own car... and that sentra doesnt have built in cut off lines so thats why you got blinded....

and the reason i got tint was becasue of ppl like that or those lift trucks wth their headlights at my eye level

and my neighbor is a cop and he saw what i did and didnt even say anything so i think ill be okay

lol maybe idk....but i saw the cutoff line when i first got my car and i thought it would work for the hids and ive made a thread concerning if i would blind someone with hid and they all said that the cut off line will still be there even if i get hid

i didnt realize it when my friend and i were putting in the lights but after i was pulling out and got to a dark road i realized that one side was shining farther than the other...

and i forgot how far the halogen lights shined and where the cut off line was

and i dont want to do it again until im 100% sure which side it is cause i had to jack up the car take the wheel out and get to it from the back....

or ill just wait till when my foglights come in and fix it then when i take off my bumper but... still need to know is it becasue that bar on the buld isnt straight?

That "cutoff" isn't nearly as sharp as a true HID set-up. But, anyway, I do believe that the bar should be underneath, if I recall correctly.

I've done both PnP and my current retro, and I can definitely tell you that this is wrong. It's a day and night difference. Of course, it also boils down the what car you're talking about. The old IS has very good reflector design to distribute HID lighting. Our cars, while good, isn't at the IS level. But, I will agree that it's not bad for a halogen based car. I've seen a few PnP'ed Civics myself, and they're okay on the glare from the angles I saw them in. I was never directly in front of one though.
