Post up your HIDs...

I'm stuck between 4300k and 6000k, my guy that carries the hid's doesn't have anything in between. So I'm just looking for pictures of 4300k and 6000k, but feel free to post w/e you have as well.

Either color temperature will be fine.

Over time the 4300K bulbs will age and shift closer to 6000K, but the 6000K bulbs seem to stay there.

Here are some 4300K bi-xeons from a german car:

and here are some 6000K HID retrofit kit lamps in a Civic reflector housing:

Their color is very similar, so take your pick, you will like them both.

Wow I don't know how you guys drive around with lights like these. I mean look at the stop sign and the house. They are several feet above the height of the car and completely lit up.

Anyways to the OP, I'd go with 4300k. It provides the most usable light output. White, blue, purple etc may be more distinct colors and make you think that there is more light output, but that is incorrect. You can always get 5000k bulbs on eBay which are good if you want a slightly whiter color and still retain most of your light output.

look through those galleries of 8thgen's with HIDs. That's the work of customlightz.com - they usually use 4300 bulbs in all of their jobs.

So, is it true purple/violet (12000k) is rice? If so, then I'm sad.
