Fogs: Yellow glass, yellow bulbs, or both?
I'm thinking about buying the K2 motor fogs off of ebay and I was wondering what yall thought about the yellow glass. How does that work out?
Would a yellow bulb be better? Maybe get the yellow bulbs and the yellow glass...? idk I want yellow because soon or someday I'm going to be getting HIDs for the driving lights and yellow is in it's own field. I won't have to worry about getting HIDs for the fogs to match the regular headlights. I thought it would look kind of strange with good looking crisp lights up top and then the slightly yellowish things below. Might as well go all the way... While I'm here would anyone just like to to quickly mention the size bulbs those k2 motors fogs take? |

06blaksi, those look great. That's exactly what I'm aiming for on my car.
K2 Motors doesn't have any clear fogs for the coupe any more, so I guess I'll get some from another ebay seller. They're all the same thing right? Those bulbs are expensive though. What size do you need for the civic fog lights? And they're not going to die in a year are they? |

I would say OEM clear fogs with yellow lamin-x. There are a couple advantages to this I think:
A: You lense is protected so the glass doesn't break like everyones had with plain lenses. B: You can utilize stock fog bulbs and it will give you intense yellow light output. C: You don't have to worry about spending 60 bucks a clip for cheap yellow fog bulbs that will most likely burn out in ummm about 6 months. Just my .02 cents, I am currently running OEM clear fogs with blue lamin-x. No breakage problems or burning. Yellow lamin-x: ![]() ![]() Fogs on: ![]() Blue lamin-x: ![]() CANMAN |
