Ebay lights that arent that bad lookin....well MAYBe...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/06-07...42909932QQrdZ1

found these on another post but i did a search and couldnt come up with more info on these.

my biggest issue is the HALOs around the bulbs. smells like rice-a-roni but if they were disconnected these wouldnt be half bad as a cheap way to put projector lenses on your civic.

then again u could always retrofit...but yeah.......$$$$$$$!!!!!

i think if you ran a little bit of RTV on the seals to make sure they are not gonna leak in the future and disconnected the HALO shit, then these wouldnt be half bad..

What do you guys think??

oh and mybad if this is a repost.

yeah, but those were FUGLY with the crome housing. these are flat black and look more OEM.

Another thing. Whats the deal with only being able to use H1 and H7 bulbs on these. Is it b/c the projector lens is too small for a 9006 bulb? If so, that you simply buy a H1/H7 pigtail and splice it into the existing wiring? And what if you want to run HID. would you need a 9006 kit or an H7 kit? I assume the H7 but then again, ive been wrong before.

if you want a pnp hid kit to fit those projectors then you would need whatever bulb style/design the projector takes.
Again, bulbs are different and vary from one to another.
The thing about rebasing the bulb yourself is that you will lose the focal point of its design to perform best. Thus, it will give you poor visibility, glare, etc.
