I am interested in putting clear/chrome turn signals that illuminate amber in an FG2's front headlights.

Is the current choice only those chrome incandescent style bulbs? I hear they aren't very bright which makes me apprehensive about getting some, but I want cleared headlights. I've seen no example of anyone putting led front signals in their car.

I have LED turn signals in the rears right now and they are brighter than the incandescents because of the radially mounted LED's on the bulb. I am going to be clearing my headlights over the summer and already have my chrome incandescent bulbs, but may also try LED's.

The biggest issue with LED's in the front is heat, but the touch test after driving for a while the turn signal area wasn't hot at all while the headlight area was.

I'll still give a shot though.

Yes, the trunk is a 194 and the map, dome lights are 31mm festoon bulbs.

I received and attempted to install some LED's for my front signals on Friday. I'll have more to say in a few days (depending on the response of autolumination concerning their return policy) but to suffice for now, I'd recommend Silverstars.

If you are looking for plate LED's, articsilber recommended some to me which I ordered last week. They should be here any day now. Once I get them installed I will post my opinion.

supposed to yank it out. hold it from the base as much as u can.. if u have big fingers.. uhmm.. i guess wear some rubber gloves so that they grip the bulb more? as long as u dont squeeze on it too hard, it shouldnt break on u

worst case scenario if you break the bulb, just use needle nose pliers to pull the metal part out.

Front = #3157 ???
Back = #7443

Am I correct in believing those are the numbers? What type of bulb do I get. Also, which site or store(like pep boys or advanced autostore) do you recommend?
Someone told me of this site http://autolumination.com/7443_7440.htm
but there are soo many to choose from. What type of light should I go with, LED? I want one that will DEFINITELY show up during the day and I also DON'T want to have to install anything. I basically need the bulb to just be switched out with the old one....what to do what to do

anyone have any luck to answer her question, i am curious too. also what can i do with the bright headlamp to keep it close to the same color as my HIDs, which are 6000K.

I'd like to see a complete tailight assembly with l.e.d strips and resistors built in that you can just plug and play, made availible. Maybe in a red and clear housing! But not like those cheap looking "euro/altezza" ones that look like they came off of some kind of ufo.
