Replacing Front/Rear Turn Signals 06 Coupe (Blue Lens/White output?)

Hey all,

Finally got my 2 door coupe, I have a 4 door sedan which the girlfriend mostly drives and a 2 door coupe.

Just started slowly modding the car a little bit, rear window tint, the dealer threw in a spoiler, and I just put in some PIAA High intensity headlights, which I'm pretty sure will light things on fire if you stand too close


Anyway, my old car I had, I did the clear corner mods to the front headlights, and I am thinking on doing the same to this car, but if I'm going to do it, I want it to look right.

I want to order signal bulbs for front and back which are normally called "Xenon Blue" which means the lens is actually blue but it gives off a bluish white light.

I'm not sure on the legality here, but they made them for my old car, and I drove for 4 years with never an issue with the police.

It looks pretty sweet since you get the blue reflection on the chrome during the daytime, and a pretty sweet white/bluish front coming to you at night.

I did a search for all of this on the site to no avail.

My main question is, will a 7440 fit in a 06 Coupe? I hear it's 7440A but can I just remove the plastic tabs and it will fit ok?

Also I can't seem to find any Xenon Blue bulbs for the front turn signals.
I'm not really interested in going LED.

Well I found bulbs that could potentially fit the Rear Turn signals

PIAA 19225 is the PArt number, these are 7440 size bulbs. Has anyone made 7440 fit the 7440A?

If so will all 7440s fit? I've had problems in the past trying to get 7440's to fit but I didn't buy them to try and shave them down. Anyone?
