keep DRL's on with low beams??

ok well theres a thread like this in the diy section but i figure not everyone looks at those. anyways im wondering if anyone has figured out a way to keep the DRL's on with the low beams. i think it would look cool kinda like the dc2 itr's. if anybody has any ideas then post em here...

when you make a harness you can go attach a diode from one wire to another that way both stay on instead of one turning off and the other turning on...
same applies to H4 cases when u want a bixenon setup, you connect a diode from the hi's to the lows bc with an H4 bulb, when u turn on ur hi-beams ur lows will turn off...with a diode, when u turn on ur high beams, there will be a current powering the low's that way the ballast will get power while you activate the shield...
if you don't have a diode, you will activate the shield but your HID's will turn off due to the fact the low's will be powered OFF. As a result, your ballast will get no power and shut down.
