Xtreme HID 5K install w/pics

So i installed my HIDs today with the help of mutantcheese and K757 . Actually to be honest, i would have electrocuted myself on at least 2 occasions without their help.

On with the pics: installation was straightforward. it took about 3 hours with plenty of breaks. hardest part was figuring out where to put the ballasts and taking apart the bumper. i didnt want them somewhere obvious. I used the provided relays for the added piece of mind even though several friends told me there was no point. Both of the bulbs took a little bit of persuasion to get in, but do fit snug. Overall I love the output. Its white, crisp and clear. So far I do not have a hint of blue, which is exactly what I wanted that the 6 or 6.5k kits cannot do. I was driving home next to an RX330 and the output looked identical.

I will post later pics of the cutoff which is also amazing, especially for a PNP kit.

Well the RX come with several hid headlight setup...
- HID AFS which is a beauty and sharp cutoff
- HID without AFS which has a different bowl and output is not that bad but
no better than then e39 or close to the e46
- Halogen projectors which have the same output as the non-afs
