Hey what is a retro fit?

I want to get HID lights in my car 07 coupe ex. Of course I have to wait to get the car back as it was in a fire

I really have no clue what I need, how to do it, what a retro fit is? Thanks

retrofits consist of putting OEM HID lights from another vehicle, and fitting them inside your stock housing.

A lot of people tend to pick the parts from the TSX, and then mod them into the si housing.

that is different from just plugging in a hid kit from a company, or something on ebay. It's much more expensive to do a retrofit, but the results, and cutoff on the light is great.
