Demon eyes

Well today I got a wild idea again and started messing with my headlights. It didn't turn out as good as I wanted but thats ok others will perfect it I am sure.

Angel eyes are White or light blue so I put red leds in the amber rings to get Demon eyes. So here are a few pics as I am still messing with them so it is just a tease to see what you guys think.

Nice idea. Lots of people have asked about doing this....you are the first person I have seen pull this off. Looks awesome.

Oh wow. It doesn't look half bad. I would like to see it cleaned up a bit by having the LEDs light up the whole amber rings.

I wish they had more glow to them, the leds I picked out did not put out the light I was looking for and did not fill the rings.

For right now they will stay with the 3 sets of leds as I had to go to 3 stores to get each pack at Advance auto parts.

If I do it over again I would try some thing like string lights (not rope lights) or 6 sets of leds so I could stack them to fill the ring more.

I was going to have customlightz put that together for me but ended up opting away from that idea. I think it will look very nice when someone does it. I would have gone with a white or amber CCFL though.

Before I had bought my car, I thought that was one of the features of the Si that came with the orange halo inserts... maybe at the mid-cycle refresh.

Here, just use RED led's

You can modify this procedure to do all your interior lighting too.

Looks creepy and scary....I wouldn't go driving down the street with those however...

Leo thanks for the link but there is no way to get that tube in with the amber ring, I did want to try the cut thing but not sure it would work out the way I want it. I will try to post some pics of what I did and used for others to see, when I finish the other light...LOL.

With the Lights on it will not stand out that bad. But yea, they are red lights and that is a big no no to cops.

I will more than likely put them on a switch.

More pics for ya. I could not get good night pics that show the real look of them, but here are a few any way.

Car started with e brake still set.

Lights on as you can see they do not stand out that much.
