.:SC430 Projector retro progress:.

UPDATED WITH RESIZED PICS!!!!

Ok guys and girls, ive been talking about doing this retro for a while and i finally got my second projector. I have a headlight in the mail so i havent started that part but id like to sharre my projress with the projectors themselves and my shoud. all opinions, thoughts and recommendations are encouraged. I also have a few questions. i am looking to doing a color mod to these projectors but i dont know how. there are two screws on the sides and thats it.. there is nowhere to put washers at in the bottom...

How the projectors look without modding...

How they look after modding...

Side by Side...

My Shroud... (Electric stove plate thingy)

Shroud on the Projector...

Top View of shroud and projector...

As for the shroud, i plan on buying an escutcheon from ACE hardware that will fit around the projector; however, i cant seem to find it... err.. will update soon.

Excellent. Are you going to do a clear lens swap? The Celica lenses work well with that projector and produce fantastic results.

Updated the pics, if they are still to big, ill make them smaller. and i dont know about the celica lenses, i thought these were pretty clear.. there are no little ripples or anything of that nature.. how much and where for the celica lenses... i might as well do it right the first time lol

They're a little frosted. Not bad lenses or projectors... but with the Celica lens, those projectors are nearly equal to the S2000's. You'd have to search on ebay or on hidplanet or some Celica site to find the lenses though. I've never pursued it.
