My HIDs

So tell me what you think? I personally think the aim is a little off, the light projects longer on the passenger side and more to the side on the drive's side, or I could just get used to it. No complaints/flashes from other drivers, and I drove past cops today so now worries there either!.

Yeah, the REis - the thin Digital ballast.

Take a picture further back from the garage door so that we can see how bad the hot spots really are...

you need to get them fitted..... If you have the original housings then that glare will be terrible to everyone.

Find some place to send it off too and they will custom fit your housings so the lights are even straighter and none glare and better than normal lights.

Only cost you like a bill too and sight improves a ton

Thanks for the input, but while the light on the road could be improved, it is not a bother to any other car on the road. I've had them on for 3 days now and not one complaint or one person shielding themselves. I watch my light on other people's cars and it doesn't enter the cabin. I've also passed by 3 cops so far and no dirty looks.

the passenger light is supposed to go further than the driver side.
or the passenger light is aimed a little higher than the driver side.

the driver side is lower because it helps reduce blinding to oncoming traffic.

=)

it maybe a different angle when your in the car ya kno, why you feel their not properly aligned at all. Pics wont really do much justice compared to actually using them during the night pointed at the ground or in the air preparing planes for a landing

I get like about a 10-20 foot light up of the area in front of my car - esp. in the pitch black. Then I see the light start to wash out but goes a little longer on the passenger's side. But it also lights up the street signs very well ahead so I know what I'm doing. And the road paint.

did u ever align your stock headlights before you took them out? like aimed them at one object & marked. Then after the install of the HIDs adjust them to that pre-existing mark you drew @ the same distance back.

I let BE (site sponsor) put them in for me. I have personal experience with lighting so I wasn't about to install HIDs.

I definitely wouldn't go touching the ballast when running so i dont know. Other than I can't tell how much batt life I find that the light switch/turn signal bar gets warm. Interestingly enough It used to get warm around the letters on the gear box. Not anymore.
