Lexus HIDS in SI

im about to buy HIDS from a lexus just wondering if it would fit in the SI. Anyone might know?

depends which one you'll be using.
LS430?
IS250/350?
RX430?
single-xenon? bi-xenon? measurements?

suppoidly rx330 i put them in my HI beams to see how theyd look and they seem to get in their but not perfect fit. I was wondering how about the low beams.

thats the thing they arent projectors. He just showed me bulbs and ballasts.

All HID bulbs will not fit into Halogen housings. OEM bulbs are either D2S or D2R. You need D2R bulbs modified to fit the 9006 socket

you can buy adaptors on ebay and that should solve your problem. There might be some glare andhot spots but not sure as how much though.

If you have the ballasts then look at this link for bulbs.

what i did was dremmeled the extra tab off and then dremmeled the white piece on the ballast down so it would clip in

Yea i guess i might just do that. They seem to be blue once they start up but turn white after a couple of seconds. Have you ever seen a DIY for something like this?

i havent seen one but im pretty sure you can find one if you search. lol mine are the opposite, they start out white and then turn blue, theyre 8000k

thats what i need i want it more blue. U got it off of a lexus or you just bought a blue bulb somewhere else

my friend ordered them for me from japan, theyre not lexus hids, just blue hids

Just found out theyre d2rs. Is there a tutorial anywhere which shows how you work with the wiring to get them working with 9006 slots.

All you need are 9006 Rebased D2R bulbs. You can sell the bulbs you got pretty easily.
