Mini H1 retro. a little clarification, please

okay so I got all of the parts from TRS today to do my H1 retro. I'm just trying to make sense of it all before I start ripping my car apart and I want to make sure I've got it right.

so I plugged it all in as I saw fit, like so:


so I'm just wondering, I know the two loose ends on the right side in the picture go to the positive and negative battery terminals. so, the loose end on the left goes to the passenger side low beam? this seems pretty obvious but I want to make sure.

or, is the relay even worth using? I know everyone recommends them for PnP HID kits but it seems as though nobody actually uses them.

so, next are these three pigtails:


I have absolutely not the slightest clue what these are for. help me out?

those are just test pigtails.. you use them to test the ballasts and stuff off the car.. i always use relay harnesses and always recommend them.. as far as the input connector, that goes on the drivers side 9006 output connector not the passanger side.. i guess you could put the relay on the passanger side and run the wires to the drivers side, then you could put the input on the passanger side.. i usually just put everything on the drivers side..
