Will do, when I get a chance.
Would you happened to have a similar LED for the truck/cargo?
And which one would you recommend.

For the trunk, I'd go with these:

6-SMD T10 2825 W5W LED Bulbs For Foot Area Lights, Courtesy Lights

I bought the reverse lights a while ago now... and have regretted it since then... the color is too blue... which has very bad depth perception... very bad for backing up because its harder to tell how far you have left before hitting a curb or even worse a wall... the Cree XRE led itself is very badly heatsinked... so after a short while the output goes down because the led's temp has gone up. I did a side by side comparison with another civic with the original reverse lights and the original ones are brighter.

I have not seen this personally, we've did some extensive heat tests with these bulbs, both the 5W and 2.5W CREE Bulbs by leaving them on for long periods of time and there was no reduction in output.

PM me your order # and I'll see if you're within the warranty period and I can possibly send you a replacement because this does not seem to be how we designed the lights.

LMK how it looks, I haven't really seen many 8thgen's with overlays with our reverse lights.

Curious, do the DRL's cause the DRL notification to come up on the interior dash? My buddy bought a set from another website and it caused this issue. If the issue doesn't arise with you guys, my money is yours

You don't have the decoder with your DRL's?

Less don't use much power. So when the drls are on ,you car thinks the bulb is shorted.

The decoder is only a resistor that uses up more power and generates heat. A regular bulb does the same. The point being to mimic the bulbs load so the car thinks the bulb is in place and working fine.

So what you're saying is that the decoder will stop the DRL notification from comin up on the interior dash by mimicking the stock bulbs?

Yes sir. Make sure the decoder is just a resister that hooks in between the bulb and one side of the harness. I know iJDMtoy has the right ones.
