07 K2 Fogs. Different Question. Promise.
I purchased the K2 fogs recently for my 07 Si coupe. I haven't received them yet, but I had a question. It says that it comes with a switch. As we all know, the 07's are lacking anywhere to put the switch due to the VSA switch. Then I hear that you can purchase the stalks from a sedan, and use those. But I want to know if it's possible to just not even use a switch. I just want them to come on with the parking lights preferably, but if they were just on with the low beams, I could settle for that. I don't really need or want a switch. So is it possible without ridiculous wiring? Thanks for any help I can get.

You can always wire it per the instructions, but instead of placing the switch (it's a button) where your VSA button already is, just place it under the dash somewhere in the ON position.
Or, you could do some "ridiculous" wiring. |

So my K2s finally came in, and I installed them this morning. I was a little concerned because it was missing the blue wire from the OEM instructions. Anyway, I ended up just clicking on the switch and tucking in the space created by the "knee bolster." I ended up lucking out, because the fogs come on with the parking lights, just like I wanted. Not sure why it just works, but I'm quite happy with it. I'll post up a pic later, because I unfortunately have to go to work now.

I didn't really need the fog to turn on and off. I live in So Cal where it's pretty much never foggy. I just wanted them to turn on when my lights are on, which is at night. Only at night. They're not really there to help me see in the fog. Just for more light. And I adjusted them so they don't shine into anyones eyes.

Yes, you have to use a cutting tool for the hole. Don't worry if the initial look isn't entirely flush. You will never be able to get it to fit with no gaps. There's going to be no light when the bumper is installed and you won't be able to even see it.
