LED (bulb) reverse and license plate lights (more to come soon) (pics as well)

I just got my LED reverse lights and LED license plate lights today in the mail.

I waited until it was dark out and went and took some pictures:

The color is a mix between these two pictures (one above and below)

After I got finished taking the pictures, I went onto superbrightleds.com and ordered some more LEDs.

I ordered these:

rear marker light (WLED 5-LED Wide Angle LED bulb)

rear brake light (7443-15 LED bulb)

rear turn signal (Amber 7440-15 LED bulb)

Tail Light Load Resistor kit

I chose 2 day shipping out of excitement, so I'll update this thread on friday once I get them.

WOOT!!!

Hi:

I noticed your 3rd parking light LEDs

It looks very nice and is exactly what I've been looking for.

Where did you get this and is it easy to install ?

What's the bulb type?

Thanks !!

Yeah, they are stock on EX and Si coupes.

The parts may be interchangeable between the coupe and sedan, but I'm not sure.

EX LED 3rd brake light is part number:

34270-SVA-A01

costs $46

LX (coupe) 3rd brake light is part number:

34271-S5A-A01

Here's a diagram from hondapartsdeals.com:

LED is #4 and regular bulb is #3

From the Sedan:

maybe they'll fit...

I'm digging those reverse lights...

For friday - Do you find there is much of a visible difference in the brake bulbs from when the lights are simply on, to when you've got the brake pedal on? I've heard from other members who've tried LEDs in their brake lights that the difference was barely visible, and as such, it looks like you're constantly braking..

I'll definately keep an eye out for that.

I'm gonna take a few videos once everything is in.

I believe the person who had complaints about that ordered them from somewhere else. maybe superbrightleds.com will be different.

A little light is lost, but they still do light up the road pretty well.

I'd say the 3rd brake light lights up the road the most, heh

i saw some LED turn signal bulbs on ebay for cheap, but they're 24-LED, not 15 like the one you have. think it'll present a problem?

I'd say just make sure they can fit into the tail light.

watch out for cheap led's though, badly built ones aren't going to last long at all

Judging by the size of the connector, it looks like it should fit. They look like their about the size of the stock bulbs.

But I'm just guessing from the pictures.

e-mail the guy and ask him the dimensions of the bulb and compare it to the stock bulb.

Crappy videos from cell phone:

None of the brake lights yet, those will come tomorrow or saturday...

turn signals:

the lights aren't as sporadic as they seem and they definately don't fade out like they do in the videos, this is just a bad video.

I'm gonna steal my girlfriend's digital camera tomorrow and get some somewhat better ones.
