Are yours Pnp?
If it is, Recheck:
- Ground connectivity,
- Make sure the connector from the ballast
seated correctly to the oem connector, you should hear 'click' sound.
Plug not seated correctly will result high voltage spark inside
the connectors that can cause short circuit and burn the connectors.
- Check the headlight fuses.

If every connections are good, you probably have a defective hid kits. Exchange the kit.

anyone have any issues trying to plug in the hid bulb to the OE harness? I got the K Light kit for 9006 and the OE plug won't fit the male connector of the HID bulb.

the pins look too close together. Got it from on EBAY.

thanks... but as for "ground connectivity" what exactly should be done with the ballasts so that they are properly grounded?

Words to the wise, include your phone number in the paypal note or they will e-mail you asking for it before they ship!

Is it normal or like that? It doesn't bother me, but I just don't want to fry my harnesses. Any comments?
If its the grounding, I attached the plate holder directly to the body of the car. If its not enough, how to find/make a good ground?

but deaodi, its a gas bulb, and when you turn them on, it ignites the gas which gives out a bright flash at first, then goes dimmer and brightens up. thats normal next time you see a bmw or something, ask the guy to turn the headlights on for you theirs do the same thing

Thanks a bunch for this DIY. I used this to install my HIDs and it was much easier than doing the shenanigans that the factory suggested.

Great write-up.

I got them from the guy the OP recommended on eBay. PM me if you'd like his eBay seller name.

Installed them tonight, they look awesome, I'm totally satisfied. Went with 5000K. Will try to take some more pics tomorrow.
