Did my install of the 6000K HID's today and they look f-ing fantastic!!!!!

The only issue was how tight the Xenon bulb fit into the headlight socket. Ended up using the OEM o-ring instead of the one that came with the HID kit, its almost double the size of the OEM o-ring and makes it a bitch to seat correctly. Once my fogs come in i'll be upgrading those to HID's also with the 4300K kit that i ordered. Will be clearing the turn signals also! My silver bulbs came in today too!

just want to clearify something....from what i understand is that the factory bulb harness plugs into the ballast in the (green circle) part and the two wires from the ballast plug into the bulb like i already did so what happens to the other 2 connectors(blue & red circle)? where do they go since we dont use the harness that comes with this, if someone can be of any help i would greatly appreciate it. thanks

if you plugged in the factory harness to the green circle then you don't need the harness with the red and blue, unless, your ballast is mounted where your factory harness wont reach then you need that harness as an extension.

the red circle connect to the green circle, blue circle connect to the OEM plug from the car.

Talking

i just got my first hid 6000k pnp kit today from one of our paid vendor in this forum, XENONEYES.COM. it took me only 1.15 hr to install. i've read all comments from orient express that's why it was quick and easy. i swapped the o-ring of the hid bulb with the factory standard halogen bulb, it took me 1 minute each headlight to install the hid bulb. took off all wheels and well liners, install ballast like what OE suggested but on the driver side, i have to brainstorm a little. on the new 2008 civic lx inside the well, the air filter housing has taken the place that OE suggested to install the ballast. so i install the ballast on a steel arm which right above the sensor hopefully it's save enough.
OE you are awesome! your instructions are easy to follow and it works.
i love it! it so bright. I will post some pictures later.

Installation on the driver side,

2008 civic lx driver side ballast location,

The Left LUMINICS 9006 5500K Titanium White
The Right HID 9006 6000K pnp kit,

Some glare but so far after one night driving and passing a few cops from the opposite direction, the glare didn't bother anybody. I didn't do any headlights adjustment.

That's all folks 'n im out!

Has anyone installed the audio interference and computer warning cancellation that is free with slim ballast setup?

Close-up from the side of the housing. Using 'macro' distance, low ISO to reduce the glare.

yeah you really only need to remove the battery from drivers side. only took about 25 minutes to install. when you turn headlights on high beam, the lows are still on i checked it out.

Quick question, slim or regular ballast? What are the real big quality, tech, problematic differences between the two?

Installed this kit (ebay seller kasssabiannn) today. The install was pretty much straight forward the only problem I had was the freaking o-ring!!!!!!!! the o-ring that they provide is wayyyy to wide so I used the oem o-ring.

i bought the 6000k btw. The color is not blue at all. Its bright white. I was expecting a more blue color to it but I'm still satisfied

This is the 6k kit, As you can see, its slightly blue compared to a 5k kit which is pure white. I actually had the 5k bulb at first and didn't like them so I bought the 6k bulbs.
