The best bet is to stick with the 35 watt kits.

i have a PNP hid kit in stock housing running of stock wires, i get a flicker and would like to buy/install some relays to get rid of this, anyone have a picture of how itll be configured?
also does anyone have a link to buy premade relays...?
and what exactly to the relays connect to? the battery?

I got mine from that guy in Guangzou on eBay, and mine have been working for 8+ months now without a hitch. I think it's cheaper now than since when I bought mine. . . I have 5000k, and I find it to be a great color. IMO 6000k and up is very cop magnet-- but you're entitled to your own opinion. If you want to approximate what 5000k looks like, I have a youtube video that shows the lights at twilight. Good luck with your install.

That's an inflammatory question 'round these parts. I'm a PnP guy who didn't mess with the aiming, and after 8 months of driving around the OC and LA, have never been flashed or anything. The cutoff looks good, and I have not had any problems with my eBay "Kass9898" kit.

Striker and others will have a different opinion I'm sure, so don't just listen to me.

Maybe the sedan's reflector's are different than the coupes. . . maybe the Southern values in Tenn are more stringent about lights. . . couldn't tell ya.

hmmmmm......So i ordered a set of 9006 6000K and H11 4300K HID's on the 26th from that guy from Guangzou, China on eBay. Paid the same day via Paypal and still havent received any type of tracking info or order status. Says on his site tracking info will be provided within 48 hrs of payment.

Does he send tracking info? Or does the product just arrive when it arrives?

I ordered mine 9 months ago and it all worked out well. I never remember getting a tracking number though. They just came when they came.

Ok, I've read close to all this tread. I am very new with car mods and lights since this is my first car and i'm only 17. I have one question, when I do get HID's and have installed them by replacing my Silverstars, Will I have to aim the lights or will it be already set perfect?

Marc,

depends on how you do it, if you go through the fender well it wont move the lights, but taking them out it might change it. but they will be brighter and prob shine higher, so you might have to aim them down some

Technically, you should aim it a bit low because you don't want to create an eye sore for other drivers on the road. If you notice while sitting at a red light that you're shining into the next car's cabin, then there's your cue to adjust them. I tend to adjust them lower than usual because you're not always flat on the ground. More than often you are bouncing around and it'll really piss other people off.

Ahh ok, well from what I have planed, I'll only change the bulbs by the fender like I did with my silverstars. Also, someone mentioned that if my lights are shinning a bit to high, to have them aimed by a shop instead of my self.

no need for a shop to do it, just pop the hood and you can see the things to change it
