Serious help with lights! A.s.a.p.!!

Hey guys,

Ok... so heres the context. I finally got my LED from superbrightleds.com or whatever it is, installed the front turn signal hoping it would turn out nice. So then put it in, check it out with the emergency blinker, worked fine. But when i started the engine, turned on the signal, somehow they just started to blink really fast, twice the normal speed. So i thought that it was kinda cool for a change, not too shabby. But when night time came, turned on headlights, comes on fine, but i notice that the turn signal does not light up just a little bit.

HERES THE WORST PART! THE WHOLE back lighting does not light up, nothing does. Turned on the headlights the back part does not light up...
I think i popped a fuse.

ANYHELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED... thx :mcry:

ok, first off, welcome to the site

next, the hyperblink issue has been discussed in several threads, including this one:
led turn signal problems

and the light not filling your fixture is the downside of LEDs, they may have the same or greater intensity over incandescent bulbs but that intensity is focused into a relatively small light spread

check the fuse panel with a test probe...you should be able to identify the fuse off the cover panel.

I have LEDs in my whole taillight (expect I got a chrome amber turn), license plate, trunk, and interior domes. All mine work fine. I did not, how ever, like the fast blinking of the LED. Was really annoying so I went to a chrome amber but rest are LED and work fine. You can get a resistor and fix the blinking but all in all I didn't like how the LED didn't fill out my turn signal.
