Interior lighting ideas

I've got a few minor ideas for lighting the interior of my civic. I'd like to know what you guys think, and, how easy it would be to do. I don't know much about electrical, however I do have a few hundred LED's lying around from computer modding.

First, I'd like to illuminate the floor.

Second, at night, when the headlights are on, everything else dims. I'd like a little light to come on that I would install in the cup holders. Those bastards are hard to find when it's dark out.

Third, glove box when opened.

Fourth, center console when opened.

Also, what other ideas do you guys have?

There is alittle LED light in the map light housing that is there just for the cup holders and center console....... Shines down from the roof onto the center console to light it up at night......

My parents Accord has the light, you have to be driving around for a while to actually notice it. BMW had it right with their overhead lights.

To get the best light coverage to illuminate the floor use 3 watt LEDs. Here are pics of mine.

I'm just gonna rat off ideas :

lights under the driver and passenger seat.
lights shining on the pedals or from the pedals.
lights under the glove box
the inside door handles
the door side compartments
lights in the compartment behind the stick

that's about all I can think of for now

I did the floor the other weekend:

Courtesy Light Install

^ A few other people have done that too.

The cup-holder one has been done as well, athough I forget who it was. They posted a nice DIY for it too. It's somewhere :)

Basically any lighting can be done and can be easily on/off controlled by using limit switches. LEDs make it really easy... since they use so little current, you can piggy-back them on pretty much any circuit.
*EDIT* When I do my 3-way door speakers and finish machining the grilles, I'm going to hide LEDs behind the grilles that light up the speakers with a really soft glow when the radio turns on :)
