k2 Projector Headlights for 06 Civic

i have a 06 NHBP SI and i recently bought the Projector Headlights for the 06 Civic from k2motor (http://www.k2motor.com/lhpcv062jmtm.html). I brought it to a shop to get it installed today and ran into a couple issues. One being the side LEDs did not work (both headlight LEDs did not work) which i boxed in red :
. The other would be the fact that on the side of the headlights, it said "do not use HIDs." I would like to know why it says that and why does the LEDs on the sides do not work. Thanks!

they have to be wired up to work. the stock harness doesn't have a plug for LEDs

it's also says don't use HIDs b/c the projector lens was not designed for that type of heat that is generated by HIDs. if u use HIDs there is a chance of possible fading in the lens or discoloration w/the plastic housing

HID's generate less heat than halogens

on their site they have some civic headlights that they say can be used with HIDs.

They don't really mean that, do they?

Sometimes, they just won't aim correctly. It seems that OEM replacements are more readily available on ebay though.

you have to wire them correctly. I had that same problem when i installed mine and had to **** with the wiring. i find gott it done tho. on one click i have the leds and angel eyes and on two clicks i had my headlights on with HIDS. DRL's are off at all times
