do i need a new harness for aftermarket headlights?
looking into getting new headlight fixtures but they say they take H1 and H3 bulb types.. do i need to have HIDs to use these then or can i use the stock harness with the new bulbs/old bulbs?

Usually those headlight come with the required bulbs, and already has an adapter to allow you to connect the bulbs to your OEM harness. So to answer your question, yes, you can use your stock harness with the new halogen bulbs. But the whole thing about getting those projector headlight is really not worth the money, if what you looking for is an upgrade to the performance of your existing OEM light.

I wouldn't buy aftermarket headlamps. They are a downgrade in quality and maybe even output from stock. If you want increased visibility from stock save up for an oem hid projector retrofit.
