WHAT HID kit and WHERE to get it?

I've been searching for a while and I see a lot of DIY articles but can't seem to find what the exact brand name is and where to get it.

I've seen a DDM kit that is easy to find but I've heard a lot about the ballasts going out.

Sorry if this has been covered before, I couldn't find it anywhere.

I installed the DDM HIDs on my Civic and on my Camaro. I haven't had any problems so far and its life time warranty

Yeah, the warranty sounds good, but I'd gladly pay 2x as much to have something that I'll never have to replace

I'd also suggest DDM Tuning because of the price. I got a set from there and i haven't had any issues with them for a year. You could get a kit from the vendor on here xenon depot(KBcarstuff - Your one stop auto accessory super shop. Proudly serving the automotive industry since 2001!) if you want to spend more money on virtually the same product.. It doesn't matter which kit you get it will eventually fail and need replacement. Its a very simple install and replacement process.

I'd also recommend DDM. I'm running DDM ballasts with my projector setup and they've worked flawlessly, plus you can't beat that lifetime warranty.

I suggest XenonDepot which is also a site sponsor. They have a quality product and you pay for what you receive. I used their Xtreme kit until last week when I did a Retro on my lights. However, I'm still using their ballasts and relay and love the reliability.

HID XENON conversion KIT H7 H1 H11 9005 H3 6000K 8000K : eBay Motors (item 160393084482 end time Feb-06-10 15:28:57 PST)

Buy any kit you want from him and just email or sent a contact via ebay the bulb type, color temperature and your information (its on the listing)..

They are Xentec and are very good, i've had mine for 3 years with no problems, they have great customer service too. The new ballasts are small slimlike too.

Add the $30 S&H will make it more reasonable price.... still on the cheap side though. Well, pretty much similar total price as DDM kit.
