Installed some HID headlights and now there is a problem

I installed some hids on a 07 si sedan. The first few times turning them on they came on the first time now you have to turn the light on and off 2-3 times to get the hids to come on ? Should I be worried or is this something that happens with some HID kits ?

They always come on and work fine after they come on so I d/k.

Thanks for all your help

Yeah I checked all the wires to make sure they were hooked up all the way. Should I not worry as long as they keep coming on ?

You probably have a faulty ballast(s). My fog lamps did the same thing and eventually only turned on when it felt like it. You should contact the company from whom you purchased them from and ask for a replacement. It will only become worse if you allow it to continue.

BTW: Do you have a 35 watt or 55 watt kit? You would need a relay harness for a 55 watt kit. The 35 watt kit doesn't require one but some recommend it. The 35 watt without a harness wouldn't be the problem but it may help others diagnose your issue and help if they have other ideas.
