I just purchase some pedals that light up!
I already put them on my car, and all the cables are ready on the pedals, but i don't know to where i suppose to hook the other end to make them light up, i hear i can hook them to my parking brakes and many more stuff, but how do i do that and where is this thing located to hook the cords up, there is a black cord and a red one
I can post pictures of the pedals if you guys want But i just need to know how to light them up so i can start taking some pictures. Thanks for your help in advance.. Update i have the pedals on but am using a batterie to light them up, i still need to know where in the car to connect it.

my guess is its the same way to get power to the courtesy lights..but u use the wire coming out of something like the headlights or something like that..sounds like a nifty thing though

Don't take this the wrong way, but that's definitely something you should have thought of before you installed the pedals.
If they're LEDs, they don't draw much current, so you can piggyback them on pretty much any signal... if you want them to light up only while your lights are on, find a signal that is active when your lights are on, if you want them on when the car is on, find an "acc" signal, etc. Make a voltmeter your best friend, connect the positive to that wire, connect the negative to ground and you're laughing.

I hear those look especially good when parked under a neon sign in front of a trailer house community with unmowed grass and old washing machines, empty liquor bottles, and various car and truck parts on the lawn, under a full moon. Or parked in an alley behind a disco!

It depends on when you want them to light up. So, when do you want them to light up? Then we might be able to tell you where to splice them.

hooked it up to the 12v (ciggar lighter) connectors, red(+) black (-) and in 12v connectors is yellow(+) black (-) so black to black and red to yellow.. good luck. if you do this, it will lit up when your key is in (I,II,III) position. if you want to take the light off? in the middle of the wires connect a switch and just hide it...
