Question about HID Installation

I got my HID installed by taking out the bumper and all that but after me and my friend finished putting the headlights back in, we wonder if it makes any difference if the bar in the HID bulb is either facing up or down.

Right now, the HID bulb bar is facing down.. for example:

Is the bar supposed to be on top or on the bottom?
Or it doesn't matter?

So the bar should be on the bottom right? If it is, then good.. don't need to take off bumper again lol

for conversion kits (9006), it can only face down, for the base to even lock properly.
