LED reverse lights
Hey guys I'm on super bright LED's and I was wondering for a 08 si coupe, we use 921 instead of 7440's right? which would give me the best bright white lighting out of the ones on superbrightleds.com since my friend is buying from there, might as well buy it as well.
I wanted an LED similar to this. ![]() ![]() Help anyone? |

i have a set that have very small leds in them but the only focus the pattern forward and off to the sides a tiny bit. Your probably looking for something with a large led/s that are not flat based. mine are 4 tiny flat based leds
but still bright

I visit friends to who live in the pitch black mountains and reversing is a scare. Brighter lights will help. Will LEDs deliver, or are there ranges shorts or narrower? Don't care that much about how white it is, but how good the light is.

oh thanks guys, which would be a better deal or a brighter WHITE LED, mrhappypantz link or kinetix, i really can't tell unless I see it in a car.
I'm on superbrightleds.com and i'm looking at the WLED-xHP15-T Wedge Base Bulb Miniature Wedge Base Bulb (194/168 type) with 15 High Power SMD LEDs 12 VDC, 360 Viewing Angle, 75 lumen - Polarized bulb would that one fit? it's on the second page. Last edited by vmach626; 10-21-2009 at 03:40 AM. |

Which ever has the most "Lumens" is going to be the brightest so print out all of the ones you have found and circle the output brightness and there you go. I don't think anyone has pics and you can't trust those anyways, cause they can be fudged and shopped. They're LEDS just get some and if you don't like them your only out 22 bucks. It's not a big investment to play around with and you can always sell the ones you don't like to someone else.

I think you want something that puts out mass light - ideally, a flat board with millions of LED squares over it...
Screw those plastic LED globes that refract the light - the reflector housing for your reverse light will aim it for you anyway |
