Question ebay; foglights from racing_guys

i just bought these... 2006 2007 2008 HONDA CIVIC 4DR SMOKE FOG LIGHT DX EX LX:eBay Motors (item 360153240783 end time Oct-03-09 14:22:09 PDT) ... now I see so many negative feedbacks about these foglights cracking/breaking easy. For my 07 Sedan Ex, you guys think its even worth cutting part of my bumper just for these?

You can replace the glass with lexan glass (polycarbonate) not an expensive modification. But...I hear the glass melts if left on when standstill.

the glass breaks from the location in the bumper, not the quality of the fog....yes you can lexan it like others said but yes the lexan melts under heat over time and looks like @$$

so theres really no winning in the fog light situation

I've never seen any ebay fogs come with glass. Install them and you'll be fine.

I've had ebay fogs for about 6 months now, and they're still lookin great. Just avoid large trucks that throw up rocks.

If you can get PYREX. That is what they use in kitchen glass. It takes heat at the highest and thermal shock. PYREX is made from Borosilicate glass

they melt with everything but LEDs which are like 50 bux a piece....your best bet is to keep the glass and just be careful

The kit that i bought isn't glass, it came with the 94 civic harness if that makes any difference.
