How to use Fog as DRL?

I have a problem. i want to switch my Fog light to be my day time running.

but the problem is the fog only ON when you switch headlight.

anyone know how to mod this?

i hook up the fog with the parking light, and took off the fuse for drl.... i forgot which fuse tho, some1 in here can tell u that

what if I wanted to run both my drls and my fogs at the same time.

Did you try switching the light stalk to the first position? When i do that my fogs turn on, its not oem harness though.

^^^^^ search in the DYI section you'll find it and btw all civics have parking lights....

order the k2motor fog kit
use the wiring harness from k2 under the dash and leave the rest stock
that kit lets ur not only run ur fogs with the lights in the parking light position but also lets them stay on when ur high beams come on

just dont get caught running your fogs with high beams because most state laws maybe federal law says only 4 lights can be on the front of a motor vehical at one time

wire up ur fogs 2 ur corners so they turn on the first click of the light switch

Do you still want the switch to work?
are your fogs OEM?

the reason i ask is there are many ways this can be done.

I think he's trying to have his fog lights come on ONLY instead of the DRL. It seems like he wants them on WITHOUT having to turn on the parking lights.

ANYTHING is possible with just rewiring! =P

Heres some pictures of my car and my lighting wired up to switches to run how ever you want it to.

FOG LIGHT ON ONLY

DRL ON ONLY

LEDs ON ONLY

Now with it all wired to switches you can change it up like this.
DRL AND FOG LIGHTS ONLY

DRL AND LEDs ONLY

FOG LIGHTS AND LEDs ONLY

LAST BUT NOT LEAST ALL THREE

nice.. they look good.. i have all the same ligh as u have Fog LED DRL.. but my FOG and LED are wired together... and is OEM from ebay.. so the only part is how to link them up with DRL
