Nokya H11 Fogs...HEAT!!!

So I've installed these fog lights on my car..

Nokya H11 2500K Stage 1 bulbs
On the box it says 80W... I haven't check on the bottom of the bulb yet.. but I was curious tonight and I touched the fog light glass after the car has been on for a while with the fog lights on.. and I actually burned my finger it was so hot!!! WTF?!?!?!

I never tried touching the fog light with the stock bulbs.. but does it get THAT hot too?!

I was also curious and touched the head light (I have HIDs, 5000K) and I was fine. Wasn't HOT to touch....

Should I worry about it being too hot?!

It's fine. The 80 watts on the box is just for marketing... it claims the light output is the same as an 80 watt bulb. But it draws the same ammount of wattage as stock.

Yes stock bulbs get that hot.

HIDs run cooler than halogen bulbs.
