Nice spot to mount HID ballast

Howdy all,

Newbie here. Picked up a brand new silver 09 Civic EX 2DR a few weeks ago, liking it so far.

Found this forum and read until my eyes started bleeding, then decided to get the 4300K HID kit from XenonDepot. Saw from the various installation instructions posted here that there's no single recommended spot to mount the ballasts. I think I found a pretty nice location for them, so I figured I'd share it here. They are mounted in the empty space underneath the headlight. Personally, I like the fact that after install you can't even tell when lifting the hood that there's custom lighting in there (I did not use the relays).

I mounted mine in the upper left corner of your pic.

I mounted the ballasts at the exact same spot, but I tie the igniter to the ballasts. I also use screws in addition to tie to hold the ballasts.

Be careful to leave enough slack and watch out for that sharp corner so as not to damage the wire.
