Help! Halo Projectores and HID's

The halo projectors I want take the bulbs H1..I bought HID's for my low beams in my civic which are 9006 I think. Is there no way I can buy the projector lights and still use them with my HID's. If not there are other members on this forum with similiar projectors and HID's so how are they doing it?

Here is the headlight just incase you wanna see it:

You should be able to get a H1 HID bulb from the seller where you brought your 9006 kit.

I have the same headlights. just buy H1 bulbs and use the same ballasts and you're good.

So even though I have a 9006 kit, I could still use HID's with the headlights as long as I just order the H1 Bulbs? Any ideas on where to get a cheap H1 bulb?

Correct.

I would just say order a pair from ddmtuning I ordered an HID set from there and it came in a few days.

vvme sells them for 6 dollars but since they're international shipping kills you so you'll end up paying around the same amount.

What color temp are you planning on getting?

Fitment is so so. you can make them fit so they're flush, but if you do, then your projectors won't be straight.

Weather strip has crappy double sided tape so you'll have to super glue them or something.

Projector width isn't that great, but it doesn't matter that much if you have fogs on.

These projectors aren't made for HID's so you'll see that you'll get an eyebrow of light that gives off glare, but these are good headlights to retrofit (planning on doing eventually) Someone on here retrofit e46 projectors and was a straight swap.

And you'll want to change the turn signals to either white or chrome amber bulbs or else it just kills the rest of the headlight.

Thats my experience with these headlights so far. They aren't bad, but they aren't amazing.

Halos aren't actually that blue in person. they're white

What do you mean by the projectors won't be straight? I am thinking about getting 5000k because I have 6500K right now and its a little too blue. I wanted to see a picture with your low beam on and one with your high beam on to see what it looks like with the halos, if thats not too much trouble. Do you have the EXACT same ones I posted a link to because these look a little bit different. Also, where did you order the turn signal bulbs from those look nice..thanks a lot for your replies I really appreciate it.

Projectors won't be straight as in the cutoff line won't be horizontal. they'll angle a bit so you may have to add spacers or something to get them to fit right AND keep the cutoff line horizontal. I just used some washers as spacers where the bolts go.

I would say 5000k is a good choice. the cutoff is actually pretty nice since the lens is clear and not fresnel but still not to tsx or s2k level.

I do have a pic of my lowbeams on but not my highs. I actually replaced the highbeams and turn signals with hyperwhite bulbs. Yellow isn't my thing.

I'm not sure if they're the exact same because I can't see how big the amber reflectors are in the ebay photos.

I know my avatar pic is kind of small but thats the headlights with 6000k hids in them. I'll see if i can find a larger pic.
