Lamin X Film For Fogs...

I have OEM fogs, but one lense is cracked. I want to put them on my car still, due to the fact that I got them for free and have an HFP lip now.

But I cant find anything on Lamin X anymore. Is it even legit to put over your fogs? I was wanting to put the yellow overlays on them.

Also would it be a good idea to put the fogs on the car with the HFP lip and do the lamin x film later? Or would it be easier just to put the film on and the HFP lip at the same time?

Yeah, gonna be much easier to apply the Lamin-X overlays b4 the fogs are mounted, no doubt about it. Now, please be careful not to leave your fogs on when your car is not moving - even for a short period of time. I turn mine off even when waiting for a green light, and even though one overlay got burned...

You might also consider getting the overlays from our fellow GRX, it's a bit cheaper and the guys are our site sponsors.

Graphics expressions huh? how is there film compared to Lamin X? And I just have the OEM fogs so they will turn on when I turn my lights on. Theres no switch. But thanks, I will try not to burn em and make sure they are good to go.

if u put HID's in ur fogs, u don't have to worry about burning the overlays.

Im not planning on running HIDs in my fogs even though it's pure sex. I have just hyper white bulbs and it would look funky with HID fogs.

HID's actually operate cooler than stock fog bulbs, so there's less chance of burning the overlays

GrafiXpressions.com
^ personally i believe you are fine unless you are using higher wattage bulbs. If you are running the stock bulbs there should be no melting issues.

Yeah I plan on using the stock OEM bulbs with just the yellow film. Hopefully it wont melt. I already have a crack in one lense.

That's some good news. I am gonna order them from GRX then... And yeah, I got OEM fogs and there's a switch, maybe there's a difference in production years...

Stocks bulbs and everything is OEM here, and yet my Lamin-X for overlays got burned. I read about this problem with numerous other members here and the warning is posted on Lamin-X web site...

lamin-x or any overlay is absolutely not going to prevent your fogs from being cracked again. All of the overlays are not worth the money unless you are only wanting to change the lens color of your fogs
