HIDs make U shape? and driver side lower than passenger?

i just installed HIDs today and the lights seem to make a strange sharp U shape or V shape. and also the driver side is quite a bit lower than the passenger side maybe to prevent blinding oncoming traffic??...is this normal or no? here are pics.

You can aim your headlights up or down by turning a white cog with a screwdriver behind the headlights.

Sorry for the aside comment, but I thought the thread was a joke when I saw "U" shape in the title, and then saw that your speedo read "U mph" . Then I realized you're probably parked, going 0mph and the speedo is blocked by the steering wheel lol.

if it bothers you - adjust it

otherwise leave it... but i think that the drivers side will always point a little toward center (i dont think that the horizontal angle is adjustable)

I don't have a picture, but you need to turn it a lot to make a noticeable adjustment. The direction to turn it is displayed on a diagram just above the head light.

don't adjust it too high. Otherwise, you might even piss a trucker and that won't be fun
