GrafiXpressions Red outs....
I bought some new stock tailights and some red outs from grafixpressions. Everybody is smoking their tailights and i dont like to be like everyone else but i like to have a nice looking car. 25.00 with free shipping and i got them in the mail today. They looked just fine, until i started putting them on. It sucked. It is two stickers with red tint, they didnt fit the tailight 100% either that could be from one of two things.
I bought new "stock" headlights from an aftermarket source. that may be the problem, or, the red outs were not cut equally. One fit better then the other did, but it still wasnt great. Close up you can see these flaws but a normal spectator would say they look factory. These stickers are not made slanted like the tailight. So no matter factory or not, I don't see how these could fit the tailight 100% with no flaws. See if you slant the sticker, it will bubble or crease, which is unprofessional. On the other hand a professional would charge a lot more for a semi perfect job.... Pics up tomorrow if I remember |

mine didnt completely cover either =( if you look close you can see white around the edges and no matter how you tried to line it up it still showed. not to mention the inner lip portion that is white doesnt get covered and sticks out like a sore thumb.
thats why im going with a different source that is cheaper and guaranteed to cover completely. |

Mine are perfect... I wonder how you applied them. The way to do it is to spray the tail light with a soapy water mixture, then spray the sticky side of the sticker and lay it on the tail light. Since now it will be able to slide around, you can position it perfectly, and then squeegee the water our from under it.
It is the same method as applying window tint. No bubbles, no creases. Worked like a charm. Sorry yours didnt turn out the same

You can pick up a cheap squeegee at your local autozone or something, but if not i would say maybe a credit card? If you are going to use something plastic instead of a rubber squeegee, maybe keep the plastic film that comes with it on top so you dont scratch it.
