Pics of installed LED & Neon Lights

I finally got around to "almost" finishing the install with my bro-in-law last week. We forgot to add LEDs to the glove compartment, and we're gonna get to the rear seats next.

Took pics with a 5-8 second shutter speed otherwise they looked too dark (lights appear brighter than they actually are). Also they may be a little blurry since no matter how hard I tried it was very hard to hold the camera still. All lights are on hidden switches so they can be on or off in an instant.

LED in speaker housing highlighting my Kicker Components

You can see my new ipod with the plastic still on it. Bought it from one of the members here.

Used Streetglow LED singles from Ebay for all the interior lighting except that e used (2) 9" Mini Neons under the dash. All lights cost about $45 shipped, and I still have some left over. The under car kit are LED bars.

Rice or not I like them! Butt dyno can really tell a difference with an added .0001 net whp!

The way the speaker wells are designed you can drill a small hole into the door bracket to place an LED. Once you swap out speakers you'll see what I mean and how much space is in there.

As for the lighting it really isn't that bright. Like I said it was like a 5-8 second shutter speed on some pics so they absorb more light for the pic. There are a total of 3 different switches (1 for the outside and 2 for the inside) that control everything. I don't usually have all 3 on at once except for picture purposes or showing off.

Yeah, it will probably look better with a drop. With the light that bright the clearance looks huge. But good work.

Is it legal to have light beneath the car? Curious me.

Were would you suggest putting them? I thought this was one of the better surfaces since it was smooth enough to put them on that part of the door. The rest of the surface was either too wavy, or two curved to get a good fit. Also, I couldn't go with the A-pillar since I didn't want to drill into the side curtain air bags

The sound is awesome. Way better than stock (like 300% better). The OEM tweeters in the dash have also been replaced with aftermarket ones and with a crossover so the sound is excellent.

Lot of over exposure in those pics but I think it looks good, minus those underbody neons. Interior looks good.

So you have two pairs of tweeters?

Technically yeah. I have the ones that came with the components that I placed in the door. The other ones my are where the OEM ones go at the topmost corners of the dash. I don't know if all Civics have them or just the Si.

He (my bro-in-law) told me the OEM ones were pretty basic with some kind of "bass canceler" or some gibberish like that (sorry, but I'm really not that audio savvy). So he swapped them out with some aftermarket Kicker ones that use a crossover thingy too.

If this doesn't make sense or if you need a better explanation let me know and I'll ask him again. I'll try to write down all the BIG words this time.

No need, I understand :) I'm just wondering if you don't have too much highs because of that. I like LEDs in the speakers' housings. Do they pulse with the music?
