best price for Phillips 85122+

Can i find a better price for these bulbs than $45/pair shipped, slightly used?

Saw that on customlightz.

Another ?

Is it really worth double the price to get new over used?

depends how long the used ones have been used for. generally HID bulbs will last you a really long time. 45$ is a pretty good price even if they are used.

there's no difference if you get 85122+ new or slightly used. they don't color shift

but make sure that you get a matching pair. there's a date code on the side of the bulb and make sure that they match....or at least close to each other.

then it's good buy for $45 for matching pair.

you'll never get a matching pair of used bulbs. And if you do, they will cost close to its original price of 200+.

Yes you will. This is why it is beneficial to buy from customlightz. He has a lot of these bulbs and he fires them up to ensure they will match before giving them to you.

...at least that's the impression I'm under...

I don't know if CustomLightz just changed it or what but it looks like they don't even carry 85122 just 85122+

I still don't know what I've got. The lights had the bulbs in them when Rich sent them back to me and I never pulled them out to look. Hopefully they don't colorshift!

Yes I am well aware they carry the + bulbs. I sent him to a seller who had a bunch of + bulbs. Sadly, that seller ran out of bulbs. But, yes, Bjorn will take care of you.
But I'm speaking with regards to ebay. Used bulbs from ebay are just not good and they won't have a matching serial

ahhh, I see. I wonder if Bjorn bought up all of the guys + bulbs... I think Bjorn used to offer the regular ones too and I wonder if that's what I got... I guess time will tell. Worse comes to worse, I buy some new (or hell, even used) + bulbs and go on with it. If the + ones don't colorshift, why even get the normal ones?

im def going with the bulbs through customlightz, even ebay is around the same price/alittle bit more

im seeing some matu****a ballast on there for pretty decent price 20-50 shipped ea. for a slightly used one, as long as it fires up, these seem like a huge price saver from NIB which are like ~180, what do you think?

by "on there" do you mean on E-bay? If so, I always feel with e-bay "you get what you pay for". That's just me though. A lot of folks have had [BoratVoice]Great Success![/BoratVoice] with E-bay stuff. Me personally, I'd save up and buy them NEW from the cheapest place I could... or just wait till CustomLightz gets TSX/TL ballasts.

Hey guys.

Lots has happened on our end lately. I can't spill out everything, but as far as OEM parts, we got access to everything you need. Even TSX/TL ballasts.

the reason why I am not advertising the 85122 bulbs anymore is because I sold out ofthem. I should be able to get some 85122 bulbs NEW shortly.

But personally, I like the 85122+ more, and besides the free shipping they also come with a 30 day guarantee for $90/pair shipped.
