If you have a car that has hazed headlights
i doubt any of our cars already have hazed headlights or yellow tint (that we didnt put on ourselves)
but i bought my wife an acura integra 1998 and it had a problem so i went to advanced auto parts and asked if they had anything to use for hazed headlights and i got something for $22.. i was very skeptical at first.. but here are the pics.. and this is just something i did so i figured i would share it all with you.. Before: i know its hard to tell their hazed but in person they were worst: ![]() ![]() ![]() and after: ![]() ![]() ![]() heres what it came in (i hope it is lasting):

i know theres a ton of different ways... but i just went to advanced auto parts and paid $22 for the kit.. and i was extremely shocked by the results so i figured id post up and let people see... their website they got a car that has a real bad hazed headlight, and i now have no doubt in my mind it would work with the exact same outcome..
its like those little infomercials you see that you say too good to be true.. well i tested it and it works |

yeah after you sand it with two different grits, you take one pouch thats a cleaner and do that then you wait and you take a second pouch that is a sealer/polisher and go over it. wait til that drys and they give you another pouch to do a second coat on each headlight..

Older 5.0 mustangs and other fords get the yellow build-up real bad. I just went to the hardware store and got 2000 grit wet-dry paper. Use it wet with a hose and it comes right off. The use a polish you probably already have. Alot cheaper. If its real bad might have to start with 1500 or even 1000 grit.

I may have to try this on my GF's Grand AM since her headlights are HORRIBLE. I've already tried some M105 on them but they're well beyond that. My roomates headlights responded great to some M105 by hand, but hers are in bad shape.
I watched the video and I'm curious... You have to let the CV#2 cure so I wonder, when you did this, what was the temperature like? I would guess outside temp would play a part in how quickly or IF the CV#2 cures. Thanks for the review and pics! |
