Best H.I.Ds out there.

Hey guys I am getting ready to order some H.I.Ds and I wanted to know which are the very best? I know that it's mostly an opinion kinda thing, so... What is your opinion. Who makes the best?

Concerning...
Price
Brightness
Annoyance to other drivers
color
etc...

Post it here!
Thanks

Helios, Bellof, Prolumen, McCulloch, Philips, Hella, Osram, Matsushita, Mtec. PPl will claim Philips and Hella and Osram because they are used in more as oem and have a very low defective rate.

i bought mine from seller hqz4321 on ebay.

make sure you specify 9006 bulbs and what temp you want. (4300k or 6000K are best IMO)

while you're at it get yellow DRLs! (9005) i get mine from seller timereaction on ebay. he's very trustworthy and will ship fast.

example:

eBay Motors: Nokya Head Light Bulbs Fog H11 Hyper Yellow 2500K S1 (item 250368650859 end time Feb-11-09 18:54:30 PST)

get what the local tuner shops sell... here in vancouver they give 1 year warranty.... they sell for about 100 dollars installed. if it dies in within 1 year you take it back and get it fixed. if it dies after 1 year you get another set. STILL cheaper than getting the 200-300 dollar ones.

Im going to still recommend ddmtuning, $40! with lifetime warranty. Be prepared to wait 1 week before they ship.

If you want the best, you're going to have to go retro'd. Otherwise anything you get will be so far from the best, it won't even be considered good.
Poweraid was right when he/she said OEM.

I paid about $90 shipped for my Xentec PNP HID kit. They came with a 2 year warranty. So far I have not had a single issue with them and have had them in the car since Nov 08.

i've heard mixed reactions to ddmtuning and vvme HID kits... kinda skeptical about those. I would get them retro'd if you got the money.
