12,000 watt HID's question

So My friend got a set of 12,000 Hid's for his headlights and for his foglights and i really like the way they look..Would that be safe for me to do on my 06 civic si headlights and foglights?

well he got them on his 08 tundra.. they are bright, and a slight blue color..

Amazing, he must have a flux capacitor for an alternator, your going to have to get one for it to work. I suppose tundras come with those OEM. Wow toyota has really stepped their game up.

12,000 Kelvin. It's a light color rating. The wattage is most likely either either 35W or 55W.

Anything over 8000k sucks in my opinion.....when your driving on asphalt or wet roads it will not light the road up as well as a 4300K or 6000K.

With 12000K you will not be able to see crap! Anything over 6000K is purely for looks.

Good luck driving in the rain and wet roads. Any HID sucks in in those conditions.

i never had a problem in the rain with my sti's hid's.. lol except for being able to power slide with awd.. that is fun
