eBay halo projector HIDs, lots o' pics
Sorry about the quality of the pictures, all taken with my phone :0
EDIT - See page 3 for more pictures. Before I started: ![]() Bumper off... ![]() One projector, one reflector. Notice there's less of a hotspot in the middle. ![]() Both new lights on now ![]() Done! ![]() ![]() Halos (rice! lol) ![]() Looks pretty good with the retro fogs ![]() Updated cutoff pictures: ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm really happy with them for $115. Should hold me over until I get some real retro projectors, and I feel better knowing I'm not blinding anyone. Last edited by VanSi07; 03-17-2009 at 03:50 AM. |

Might as well ask in here instead of using a new thread...
Those who have used the chrome bulbs for turn signals, were you disappointed in the output? I put them in these new headlights and in the rear signals, but they're so weak I'm actually thinking of swapping back just because it seems unsafe.

I am very interested in these...I was just looking at the ebay listing do these happen to come with the bulbs or did you have to buy them separate. If so what bulbs and temperature did you get? *bump for this

I haven't determined if they will be suitable for retrofitting, have to get a hold of some decent projectors first and see how they'll fit.
If not, I've still got the stock ones to play with, nice to have 2 sets now at least so I'm not left with a car with no lights at all. |

oh and tim you posted some pictures awhile back that inspired me to keep my fogs non projectors to keep a bit of glare for street signs and other stuff above the lowbeam cutoff. =)

Disappointing though, guess it's back to stock-ish bulbs. I'm thinking clear in the front and red in the back. |

the chrome looks so much better, too bad. the hard part about red in the back is to be able to match the red color of the signal lights to the brake lights... let me know if you are successful..
