Lanin-X brand covers

Anyone have these on their headlamps? I'd like to see pics and also about light output.

According to their website it says still allows 95% light output. Is this true?

^ if its 95% tint then it will let out that much.
Get 20 and it will only let out 20 its just like window tint.

I've got the yellow film on my fogs and tint on my reverse lights. I would say it definately filters some of the light but not much. Are you running HID's? If so then you will not have a problem.

Yes on HID's for both my low beams and my fogs as well.

The output hasn't noticeably changed since I installed the Lamin-X , maybe just insignificantly, around what they advertise, 5%.

I was going to tint my rear brake lights, but not the cons definitely outweighed the pros. Tinting the headlights would be even worse, anything that would inhibit visibility is not worth doing (in my opinion).

Agreed but like I said there's no decrease to speak of.

I have the blue tint on my fogs and after a few months it started to burn. Did anyone else have this problem with lamin-x?

Wow! after hearing that I'm keeping away from this product.

There are basic pre-cautions to prevent it, like not to run them for a prolonged time while the car is idling or not in motion.
