Horrible choice -- 8000K gives you low light output, eye strain, and blinds oncoming traffic with your blue/purple glare.

I have retroed tsx projectors and i used both 8000k and 6000k.

yup play it safe and get 6000k, with 8000k you might be asking for a ticket from the local authorities

(depending on the area you live in) oo and toss in a couple middle fingers being flipped to you by other drivers as well

Oh god listen to everyone above. 8000K is not cool....its almost as bad as revving your engine to get preteen school girl attention.

I would say go even lower to 5000K. What's the point of HID's if you aren't gaining significantly more light output than your halogens? 4300K is the best btw.

Dont go any higher than 6000. 5000 would be good, pure white. 4300 would be best for output

What did the cop say, did he just give you fix it tickets?

I've never heard of people getting pulled over for 6k. I have 6k fogs and lows and i live right next to a police station with no problems.

i have 4300 and like them......nice and bright. but i always see 6000 and really like those. i think 5k is a perfect balance.........go 5k. i said so.
